The Mind Diet
Wednesday, January 14, 2021 2:00-3:00pm
The MIND diet aims to reduce dementia and the decline in brain health that often occurs as people get older. The Mediterranean-DASH Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay (MIND) diet is a fusion of two diets: the Mediterranean diet and Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) diet. The Mediterranean diet was created to encourage heart health, and the DASH diet is designed to control high blood pressure. Dr. Kathryn Kolasa, PhD, RDN, LDN will be presenting on how to transition to the MIND diet for better brain health. The MIND Diet is one of the highest ranked diets for heart health, ease to follow, and best overall.
