Pitt County Council on Aging Unveils New Website

The Pitt County Council on Aging is striving to get out the message of the services it offers, and a revamped website should help, Executive Director Rich Zeck said.

The agency’s new-look website (www.pittcoa.com) recently was completed and launched with the help of Joseph Martin and the staff at Computer Guys.

“Making our website and social media presence known in the community has been a high priority since I arrived at the COA,” said Zeck, who took over as executive director of the Council on Aging in July. “The community needs to be aware of this incredible older adult resource agency right here in our own back yard. Social media is one way to get the message out to more people in our community.”

Visitors to the new website also can learn about the council’s programs at the five senior centers across Pitt County, learn more about the COA; and stay up-to-date on upcoming events.

Another feature lists volunteer opportunities and how to get involved.
